Lake Wakatipu

Over the 2015 – 2016 holiday season, my family plus my boyfriend went to visit my sister and her fiance in New Zealand! It was an amazing experience and I am so grateful and happy that I got to experience it with my family and my boyfriend Wesley.

We all flew out separately and my boyfriend and I arrived in Wellington on Christmas Eve and spent a few days at my sisters place. Wellington is a beautiful city. It has the feel of a bigger city, but it’s not as busy as a major city. Also, it a very walkable city and everything is within walking distance. When we were in Wellington, we checked out a number of the tourist spots in the city.

After we spent a few days in Wellington, we all flew down to Queenstown and spent New Years in the adventurous city. We rented a holiday house and had a gorgeous view of The Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu. During our stay, we went on a few hikes around the lake, a tour to Milford Sound, a sheep farm tour, bike tour to Arrowtown, and went zip lining down a mountain. Queenstown is a very beautiful city and there is so much to do and to see.
