Travel Video: United Kingdom

Wesley and I went to the United Kingdom for my cousin’s wedding and we visited London and Edinburgh during our stay. Enjoy our short video!

Colorado | Utah: Travel Video

Recently, my boyfriend and I went to check out some National Parks in Colorado and Utah. During our trip we went to 3 National Parks in Colorado and 2 National Parks in Utah. We visited (in order)  Rocky National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Arches National Park, Mesa Verde National Park, and Great Sand Dunes National Park. All the parks were so different and unique in their own way. I loved this trip so much!

Also, this year, all National Parks are celebrating the centennial! So go and explore your local National Parks!

Big Bear | Labor Day Weekend

This past Labor Day weekend, my boyfriend and I decided to head out to Big Bear and explore some local sights. We hit some off road trails and did some hiking too. It was a really relaxing weekend and nice way to get away from the world. It’s so awesome having Big Bear so close! I never realized how truly beautiful Big Bear is until this past weekend.
Hope you enjoy the video below! Photo diary will be up soon!

Pioneertown | Joshua Tree

Over the weekend, my boyfriend and I along with our friends decided to explore Joshua Tree and near by Pioneertown. I really love the desert and what the landscape has to offer. Even though it was pretty hot… about 100 degrees… it was still a lot of fun! We first headed towards Pioneertown. Pioneertown started out as a live in set for old westerns that were made back in the 40’s, since then it has turned into a cute quaint town for vistors to explore. It’s super cute and they even have a town shoot out between two dueling cowboys. Unfortunately, we didn’t stay to watch, instead after our quick visit, we headed out to Joshua Tree. Even though my boyfriend and I went there recently, we couldn’t stay away! Since our friends like to off road and explore, we thought it be fun to explore some trails out in the park. I love that we are able to explore landscapes through dirt roads and off the beaten path. It gives you great opportunities to see the landscape in a whole different way.

This day was pretty spontaneous and so amazingly fun! Check out the video below to see what went down! Enjoy!

Montreal | Quebec City: My Experience

This last week, my best friend and I went to explore the great land of Canada… to be more specific the province of Quebec. We were in Canada from May 16th to May 25th and explored the cities of Montreal and Quebec City. We wanted to take our time in both cities and just wanted to “live” in the cities and kind of immerse ourselves into the culture and communities that we were staying in.

In both cities, we decided to try out Air BnB for the first time. For both apartments, we had great experiences. In Montreal, we stayed in the neighborhood of Mont Royal. We were about a 5 minute walk from the metro station and restaurants and shops. What we loved about Montreal was that the metro could take you anywhere around the city in a decent amount of time. While in Montreal, we checked out all of the Notre Dame’s that the city had to offer including the Notre Dame Basilica. Also, while there were wondered through Old Montreal and enjoyed poutine and duck. We also decided to check out some Jet Boating along the Saint Laurent River. I’ve done this before when I went to Montreal with my family as a kid, but it was a whole different experience as an adult. The Jet Boats take you into the rapids of the river and you get to experience the full power of the water while in the boat. I highly recommend it anyone who is looking to doing something unique in Montreal.

We took the 3 and a half hour train ride up to Quebec City. We stayed in the neighborhood near Saint Roch, which was about a 40 minute walk to Old Quebec. It sounded daunting, but the actual walk wasn’t bad at all. During our time in Quebec City, we explored Upper and Lower Old Quebec, enjoyed the views of the the Fairmont Frontenac, and had my first experience with the sugar shacks!

This trip was an amazing experience and a great time to bond with one my oldest friends. I made a quick video that highlighted our trip to Canada! I highly recommend anyone to go!
